*****  Business Debt Settled for 10 cents
by Guest on July 7th, 2009
on FH Financial Service
FH Financial helped me with 2 american express credit cards that were in my businesses name. I had to close the business but since I personally guaranteed the credit cards, Amex demanded their money. They sent me to collections and reported the accounts to my credit reports. FH Financial negotiated settlements on both credit cards and got my payoff at 10 cents on the dollar. In my opinion, this company is great.
*****  Fraudsters

When my client went to these people they did nothing to improve their credit and were more concerned with the monthly payment of fees. After doing an investigation I found out that they are not a legitimate operation, running out of Post Office Box and are not even registered with the state or city. Further they do not adhere to the Credit Repair Organozation Act, which is a Federal violation. Contact me me if you have problems as we are about to file a class action against this company to drive them out of business. My number is (858)715-3800

on United Debt Relief, LLC
Even though I decided to go another route, the agents at United Debt Relief LLC. were very nice and laid everything out. If we decided to go with a Debt Settlement, they would of definitly been the company to go with.
*****  Unorganized

on Rogena Atkinson - Bankruptcy - Lawyer/Attorney
Working with Rogena Atkinson's firm has been a nightmare. They have lost all of our paperwork at least once, but accused us of failing to submit it, even when we have received receipt confirmation from her office.

The staff has undergone tremendous turnover, and many of her paralegals don't attempt to answer question, offer solutions or remedy problems. They never seem to know anything.
*****  Not a good company

There is no penalty for terminating but I got charge a large sum of money after 3 years of participating when I decided not to use this company anymore. They had never charged me like this before. They said they were still working on my file. I was not happy that my credit score didn't go up despite all the money that I had given them.

Debt Relief Information

Personal debt has become a rising US problem in the last few years. According some experts, the average US household has $19,000 in debt (NOT including household mortgages). With such massive debt loads, many Americans have difficulty making minimum payments on debts and are in need of financial advice.

There are many competing companies who offer debt consolidation services. Personal investigating into such debt service programs is a must, since such services are not always be in the best interests of the person involved. Some debt relief plans involve taking out a loan secured on a person's home. Flashy marketing materials are designed and used to persuade citizens to take up the company's offer rather than proposing a personal best solution for reducing debt. Often, in debt situations, the best advice is to turn to an independent consumer's association for debt advice or debt counseling. Debt consolidation companies often have past experience with such debt problems and may be able to offer different avenues of advice based on your debt situation.
